I am currently scheduling September and October commissions. Let me know if I can help you with something. Rough sketches are 10 usd. Shaded sketches 20-30 usd. Color work starts at 40 usd for portraits and goes up from there. Thanks for your consideration.
I am considering doing a live stream of me drawing/painting. What is the best way to do that? Livestream.com? Would any of you guys be interested in watching a livestream?
Been pondering starting a Patreon page, and using it for support for my Exodus Contract project. Patrons would get video process videos from time to time, and access to layered psd files etc. I am strapped for time with my day job and commission schedule at home, so before I just make the time sacrifice and leap into it, I wanted to pick your guys' brains.  Would you have any interest in supporting on Patreon, if your opinion is no, please share it, and please offer a reason why, I am not going to get butt hurt about it or anything. Also, if you say yes, and then I don't see you as a patron I am not going to call you out or anything silly like that. I am just trying to get some feedback on whether you guys think it would be worth my time.

Thanks so much for your time and support,

I just want to take a moment to thank all of you that watch and support me. A friend of mine here on dA told me that they find me "inspirational". I found it very touching, and I am sooooo grateful to all that support, watch, fave, comment, and commission me. Professionally (day job) I am in an environment where art has very little value, and is never appreciated or understood past a 2 second glance in a pile of work (don't get me wrong, I am grateful to have a day job where I can occasionally create original art.). So it's so refreshing and empowering to find that folks will look at and truly appreciate my work.  There has been many times that I would have given up if it weren't for you guys, so again thanks so much!
I have been thinking about providing some free individual help to folks with their art.  While I realize I'm not a top tier artist on here, There maybe some folks that feel like I can help them. I was thinking I could take a couple hours a month and help someone with a piece they are working on. Probably something like I would make a journal post and give folks a couple days to let me know they are interested, and I would choose someone to help out.  I could probably offer tech advise in photoshop and possible draw over an image with notes if needed.  Does this sound like something anyone would be interested in?
As I build a OC commission portfolio of sorts I am offering 50% off commissions for a little white.  There is currently one slot open, if anyone would like their OC done in my style.  Thanks for reviewing.
In an effort to work on the much more exciting projects that dA members are likely to provide when compared to my typical local commissions, I am offerring 2 slots at 50% off to my watchers.
Everytime I post commissions open, they usually fill up with local commissions before anyone on dA fills a slot.  I am assuming this is because everyone on dA is like me : broke (or my work isnt good enough, and since that would wreck my self confidence, I am going with the former assumption...lol).  I am currently working on special pricing for dA.  Sure, I made more money from local commissions, but dA commissions are much more fun, and more in line with what I am passionate to work on, so I am willing to work for less for cool projects.  So stay tuned for special pricing...just as soon as I can figure out how low I can go.  Thanks for all the support guys and gals!
Thanks for all the suggestions, I couldnt decide, so I let my 3 yr old make the tough decision.  Congratulations to G4MM43T4, I will be painting your OC.  Everyone else who posted an entry before 10:00 a.m. EST on August 14th 2016, is eligible for 50% off one commission in the future.
Hey watchers!  I want to build a commissions price guide, but to do that, I need to figure out how long it will take.  So I need to do an OC commission for someone on dA, so that I can evaluate the leaving notes way of communicating about art (im sure its very different that my many 'meet in person and discuss" commissions.  So if you have an oc that you would like me to paint, let me know in the comments.  I will choose ONE, and proceed.  Links to any drawing of the character you have done would be great, or descriptions.
I have been working on my personal project off and on lately, and I am struggling a bit with everything I do I look at a day or two later, and think... it could be better.  I don't want to succumb to the vicious cycle of doing the same thing over and over again trying to make each character better and better.

So I would like to reach out to my watchers and anyone else who may happen to encounter this entry and ask:  Please take a look at the characters
if you have a moment and provide some constructive criticism.  As long as negative feedback is respectful I will not get butt hurt about it.  I repeat I WILL NOT get my feelings hurt, get pissed off, or anything like that.  Constructive criticism is how we grow.

Thanks so much for all your support.

Over the holiday season, I was very busy, and have not been able to say thanks as much as I have been able to.  A lot has built up in my messages, and I am not going to have time to say thanks for everything, but I want to all to know that I am so happy, and thankful for your support, and appreciation of my work.

thanks so much!!
I try to say thanks for all faves.  I really appreciate anyone who enjoys my work.  Most of my dA monitoring is done on my phone, so if your page has so much stuff on it that it crashes my phone, you may not get thanked... i still appreciate the support!!!

I will preface this with: I do not consider myself a top teir artist on here, so i dont wish to come across as presenting myself as a master or anything.

I am reluctant to offer advice that is not solicited when it comes to the technical aspect of drawing.

But...  if you are new, or not so new, and struggling with drawing anything, particularly faces, flip your drawing -100 % horizontally, and any proportional issues will leap out at you.  You can do the same thing with paper, with a mirror or holding it up to light,  i see so many peices posted on here that could be improved so much, just with this simple test.  The earlier you start "the flop test" in your drawing process the less pissed off you will be when you find the eye you just drew looks like its on the side of the figures head, instead of in front.  Hope this helps some folks.
When it seems like no one believes in you, believe in yourself enough for all of them too.
