Hi ! I'm here for ProjectComment ! If I remember correctly I already could see one of your work previously ! So let's get started ! :)
First of all, I really liked how you did your abstract background, with nice spots of lights, it's really cool it's like some particules goinge from the left to the right, it add a nice dynamism.

I don't know if it's for an art style you try, but your character is really really slender, with really long legs. It can be a choice, but it's different for the one you did (the necromancer if I remember well) that had proportion more equal. In fact, for me she has too long legs and her hips is too bony and thin compared to her bust. She looks really tall, perhaps a bit too much.

I like her style, she has nice clothes and I like how you shade with purple and adding a dim light, it looks great. I feel like her upper body is really well made, even though it's a bit sad that we can see that her tongue is out propertly (perhaps a bigger size could be a bit better but I have the same problem too with that, adding details that doesn't show much on Da). I really like how you do the arms and hands, it's really good and we can feel her personaly rather well. Playful and confident !
Otherwise her lower body seems like I said too long and with no balance point, it looks like she's falling a bit. Her right leg is a bit too forward I think.
Oh, otherwise as always I really like the way you blend and use light on texture it's really great.

Thanks for your comment! I tend to make long lower bodies, its my hyung tae kim influence that i cannot shake. Someone else also pointed out that she looks off balance a bit, but she is in motion, and she appears to be in motion to me, but obviously doesnt look that way to some other folks... thats very interesting.

Thanks so much for your observations!

Oh, the one who did the artwork from Magna Carta ? (Don't know if I spelled it right ahha). I like the artstyle when I played it back then too.
Hmm now I can see what you wanted to do, but it still feel for me that in motion you still have to have some balance at some point. But, it's really hard to show some motion, I'm still struggling with that myself.
(Well, if I hide the upper body and then do the other way I can feel that the bottom part is in a motion way, but that way for me she is too much forward with the rest, like she would need a balance with her arms that way (because the upper part doesn't seems much in motion) (like when you run and balance your arms to keep the movement)). But maybe as you said, it's just some point of view ahah

Beautiful work! I think the background came out great, simple detail without taking away from the character. Fabric folds and material look convincing and I like that it gives a different feel for material. Light source is apparent and gives the drawing a nice 3D feel although the legs appear a little more flat then the rest of the body (Mainly the leg that is upright) I'm sure pushing the values just a bit more would help with this. The only other thing that really sticks out to me is the direction and perspective of the characters legs. The upper body parts, mainly shoulder and hips, are receding. But her leg that is straight is rotated too far forward to correspond with the direction of her shoulders and hips. Right now the pose comes off a bit unrealistic because the upper body can't realistically both recede while her lower body faces forward to the degree illustrated. This could be resolved by rotating her hips more forward which would cause her torso to wrap around. Try standing and mimicking the pose, sometimes that helps :D (Big Grin)  I think your work is gorgeous and I look forward to seeing more! Hope this helps! ProjectComment

This is an awesome pic. I totally love the colors and the line work. The stance is good, her expression is well done, and both the shading and lighting are very well done. It really looks quite professionally done. Now, there is something that does bother me a little. It doesn't really ruin the picture, but just a nitpick in my opinion. Perhaps it's just your style, but the lines looking a bit blurry is a little distracting. Again, it's not bad or anything, but it just looks like it didn't get posted properly or something, as if something sort of messed or distorted some of the details. That's just my opinion, it's still a really good picture flowing with personality and character. Great job!
